The Amelie features a medium shank and is an introductory pointe shoe, designed for dancers new to pointe work.
Features
- The graded shank allows the foot to roll up onto pointe with ease and emphasizes the line of the instep while the angled platform stabilizes the foot.
- The gently curved sides of the box encourage the foot into correct alignment when 'en pointe' and the shallow box encases and supports the toes laterally and the elastic drawstring draws the shoe around foot.
- The combination of these features makes the Amelie styles suitable for a variety of foot shapes especially for the beginner or elementary level dancer who requires a flexible shoe.

We can not accept returns on used items. All returns MUST include their original packaging & tags and be unworn. If your item arrives damaged, please email us immediately and let us know. We ask that you provide pictures so we can determine if it is a factory issue or mailing issue. If you wear an item and damage it, we can not accept it as a return. Once you wear it, it is yours. Please read the descriptions and sizes fully before buying. The only exception to this is shoes that need to be tried on. However, if they have been worn and are scuffed, scratched or dirty we will not accept them as a return. Please try on your shoes on a clean, soft surface.
